ibis budget Derby

My room was comfortable, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was great, so I had a very pleasant stay. Galina did an excellent job cleaning. Everything was spotless and well organized, and I’d definitely come back.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable, the shower had great pressure, and the WiFi seemed pretty good. The TV could connect to my phone too.

For visiting Mercia Marina or stopping over in the Derby area, the Ibis Budget Hotel at Willington is well located and great value. The rooms are small, but spotlessly clean, with a practical bathroom and a really powerful shower. The front desk staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. There are complimentary hot drinks at reception around the clock, plus a well-stocked bar and comfortable seating area. It's in a service station complex, but there are useful places nearby: a Waitrose for essentials or snacks, a Subway, a bagel café with breakfast options, and a well-stocked charity shop to browse and support a good cause. We didn’t try the breakfast, though it looked and smelled lovely.

The room was warm without getting too hot, clean, and I slept well. I managed to book it fairly last minute for a cheap price, and the front desk staff were friendly. My only annoyance was the lack of kettles in the rooms, so for tea or anything else needing hot water, I had to go back to reception. Apart from that, I was happy with my stay.
