I’d stay here again because the staff dealt with our room problem without any fuss. The first room had an issue, I think a smell from the air conditioning, and after we complained they moved us straight away to a very nice room. On arrival, the staff were helpful with information about parking. We enjoyed our three-night stay. It’s easy to get to from the M5, and supermarkets and petrol stations are nearby. The food and breakfast at the Brewers Fayre pub next door were good, and you can book ahead for a deal.

A really pleasant stay at another Premier Inn. The room was clean and very comfortable, and I slept extremely well. Breakfast had a good choice of fruit and pastries. Check-in was all online, but the receptionist was super helpful with parking and an extra key. The location also makes it easy to reach the main roads and Exeter city centre.

The Premier Inn itself is superb, and I’ll use it whenever I’m in the area. The room was very good, just as it should be, and the location is great. Staff were friendly. The Brewers fayre pub next door is another matter. It’s short staffed, often low on general food, and seems to close whenever the staff decide they want to go home. I’ve reported it to head office.

A warning if you’re going for the Brewers fayre promotion: book as close to noon as you can, and remember to enter your car registration at reception. Good luck! We went for the carvery at 4, though it was supposed to be open until 6. The car park was empty and we worried the place was shut, but once seated we were told the carvery had finished early. We tried again on Sunday the 18th, booking for 2.00, and it had run out by 1.45.

The room was decent and less worn than at some other locations. The restaurant was awful, with filthy furniture and a wait of over 90 minutes for food. We eventually walked out and ate somewhere else.
