I haven’t stayed at the hotel, but I’ve enjoyed the bar. There’s a good choice of alcohol, friendly staff and a cosy feel, with a couple of fires burning and music on. They serve food at regular times too, and it’s amazing. Looking forward to going back!

Everything was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. There was plenty of tea and coffee, plus shower gel and other toiletries in the bathroom, along with lovely fluffy towels. The staff were very helpful and happy to do whatever was needed. It was my first stay, and I had a lovely night. I’ll definitely stay again.

We didn’t stay overnight, but I’d recommend the place to visitors. The staff were friendly and efficient, the location was great, and the food was good with generous portions. I forgot to take photos.

This is easily our family’s favourite pub, and we’d give it 10 stars if we could. It’s dog friendly, the locals are friendly too, and there’s a nice little nook with interesting old books to look through. The food is five stars, and we’ll be making a regular thing of eating here. The staff are genuinely lovely and welcoming, and the cosy atmosphere with warm fires is perfect on cold days.
