The live music was a really nice surprise, and it made an already brilliant atmosphere even better. We had a lovely family meal at the crown, with great food and desserts that arrived quickly, piping hot, and beautifully presented. The staff welcomed us straight away, kept the drinks coming, and looked after us so well. There was one customer being extremely disrespectful to the bar staff, which was awful to see, but it didn't spoil the evening. Hats off to the chef, and a special thank you to Frankie, Phoebe and Emily for their friendly, impeccable service.

We'd only just walked in when the staff made us feel welcome. They were happy to adapt the menu to suit us, and the food was great. Service was quick, and the desserts were enormous. Left very satisfied and we'll be back.

The food was pretty nice, though some of the staff weren't very friendly. I ordered a drink, but the woman behind the bar brought over something completely different. When I pointed it out, she said it was the same kind of drink. It really wasn't what I'd asked for.

It was a very sad day for us, as we were saying goodbye to a close friend, and the team took such good care of our group. The pub itself was beautiful and the rooms were great too. We ended the day playing Killer on the darts board in the corner, all nine of us. Thanks to everyone for having us.
