Sarah made me feel more like family than a hotel guest, and remembered little things, including that I needed scissors for my marmalade because of my arthritis. She and the other staff smiled at everyone and were always ready to help. Even with renovations going on, they did their best to keep guests comfortable. Trays would have been useful, though. Room 439 was spotless, with a comfortable bed, a great shower, Dove toiletries, an iron and board, hairdryer, TV and tea and coffee. Breakfast was self-service and very good. I also had dinner one night, and the food was beautifully cooked and presented. The location is ideal, two minutes from the shops. The lifts arrive quickly, and security doors on each floor add peace of mind. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it.

The hotel is clean and modern, with a central location by bus stops and the train station, and just a few minutes’ walk from the centre. Our room and bathroom were clean and odour-free, apart from some minor floor staining. A toilet issue was quickly sorted by a very friendly handyman. The room had the usual amenities, including an iron and hairdryer, but ours faced the street and could use better soundproofing as we heard noise through the night. The reception and breakfast area isn’t huge, but it was nicely presented. Breakfast had plenty of options, and staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We booked Holiday Inn Express Dundee for our 52 Marriage anniversary, and manager Bill went out of his way to make it memorable. He gave us a lovely card with warm congratulations and emotional words on behalf of the "TEAM", along with chocolates. Volga also made us feel special with her lovely, constant smile. The hotel is bright, modern and well equipped, with toiletries available if you’ve forgotten to pack any. Staff were cheerful and welcoming throughout, and made sure my disabled wife had an "Easy access room." We booked a taxi for departure. It was a wonderful stay, and I’ll recommend the hotel to family and friends. J Singh Panpher Room 306 from 13 October to 16 October.

Yan, Thomas and Yulia made us feel welcome and helped us find the food we were after. They even offered plates, cutlery and other things, although the food wasn’t from them. The service was amazing, and I hadn’t expected the decor or location to be so good. With all the Christmas decorations and lights, the hotel looked magical. Well done 🎉🎉

Staff were helpful, and the room was lovely and clean. We had a nice stay and would come again. The only reason I’ve taken a star off the room is that the hairdryer stopped working after a minute.
