We made the trip of over an hour mainly to use the spa, then found a notice in reception saying the jacuzzi was out of order. Staff told us they don't notify guests ahead of time when spa facilities are affected, and suggested calling next time. In an email, the hotel described the pool, sauna, steam room, gym and jacuzzi as complimentary additions to a bedroom booking. We see these as basic amenities for a spa hotel. We left very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it to anyone visiting primarily for the spa.

The food was some of the best I've had at a hotel, and the staff made the stay even better. Emma and Mark especially went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We stayed Saturday 31st January, and found the room clean with good facilities. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Thank you!

It was the staff who made this first stay memorable. Everyone I met greeted me with a friendly smile, and Anna in particular was so generous and considerate. She answered all my questions and did what she could to help me feel comfortable and welcome. The hotel itself is amazing too, and thanks to Anna, I'll be back in March for my partner's birthday.

We booked a night at the Elite Venue Selection for a wedding nearby. The rooms were roomy, comfortable and clean, and the staff were lovely and professional. Breakfast cost extra, with a decent choice of hot and cold food. We didn't try the spa, though we saw plenty of other guests using it. Great value, and I'd recommend it.

I was there for a month through January, and the staff are what made it feel like home. They were welcoming, the rooms were comfortable, and having the spa was a nice bonus. I really enjoyed my time there. Thanks to everyone, and I'll definitely return if I'm in the area again.
