The Gallery room was huge and clean, with a new bathroom, a roll top bath, a separate shower, and a large king-size bed with lovely soft pillows. We had dinner and drinks in the pub too, where the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The bar staff made my partner a couple of Lemon cheesecake cocktails, and later we sat at the bar people watching. The friendly staff chatted with us when we arrived and showed us to our room. We stayed one night while over on the East Coast. A lovely stay, and we'd definitely come again.

We finished with a great breakfast after a stay in amazing, very comfortable rooms, though they could use some tlc. It's a proper pub in the centre of a charming village, with an atmospheric bar, a good menu and good food. Service was pleasant. Many thanks.

Watching Scotland win in the six nations was brilliant. Luca, Jemma and Sofie were really friendly and gave excellent service. Lovely Guinness and chips, and it's great that dogs are welcome. A proper pub, definitely worth a pint or two.

The veggie fry-up was top notch and well worth waiting for. It set us up nicely for a cold walk around scenic East Linton. A cosy village pub with lots of character.

We only stopped in for Saturday lunch, not an overnight stay. The Minute Steak and Frites were delicious, with the steak nicely pink and perfectly cooked. Lovely.
