Korley and Alice at the bar deserve a special thank you for the drinks and for being such lovely people to meet. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff, who were patient, friendly and helpful throughout. I had a really nice stay. Thanks a ton.

The front desk left me with a bad first impression. I was first told an upgrade couldn’t be done because the sofa bed was already made up. When I asked about that, the explanation shifted to upgrades needing to be “pre-requested”, then to the hotel being full. Yet rooms were still available to book online at the time, so the changing answers came across as dismissive. I understand a complimentary upgrade is never guaranteed, but I expected a clear explanation and a courteous, professional response as a VIP member. The hotel itself may be fine, but this handling was poor. My concern was the attitude and inconsistent explanations, not whether an upgrade was available. Hospitality depends on service, and this fell well short of what I expected.

The rooms are nice and it’s good value, but parking costs extra and drinks at the bar are so pricey you’d need a second mortgage. They say loyalty members get discounts and upgrades, but that hasn’t been my experience. Don’t fall for it.

The pool and gym were a real bonus, and the car park felt very secure without being overpriced. My Margherita Pizza and Chips from room service arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, with helpful staff and excellent customer service from reception through to room service. Five stars for everything, I’d highly recommend it.
