Antler Guest House

The location was just right, tucked away from the bustle but still a short walk or easy tram or bus ride from everything. Our room was peaceful and cosy, with all we needed and a very comfortable bed. The whole house was stunning, spotless, full of charm, and beautifully kept. The owner was so kind and welcoming. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. She made sure we had what we needed, shared helpful tips for getting into town, and said she was available if anything came up. It felt like a home away from home from the minute we arrived. We had a wonderful weekend and will absolutely come back. Honestly, we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

The food recommendations in the book were great, and there's a lovely little cafe around the corner. This guest house was such a lovely surprise, with comfy beds and thoughtful personal touches like breakfast bars and whiskey, things you wouldn't get at a hotel. The owner was lovely and accommodating when we met her before leaving. It's in a great location. 10/10, would recommend and stay again.

It was so comfortable and welcoming that we had a hard time getting ourselves out of the room! Really brilliant place, with thoughtful little touches throughout. The dram of whisky waiting in our room when we arrived was especially appreciated, and that shower was the best I've ever had.

My partner and I had a beautiful weekend in the Jura room. Shirley and Mark were so welcoming and gave us useful information about local activities and sights. The location is right in the middle of everything, and we could walk everywhere without needing a taxi or bus. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable stay.
