The location was handy too, with most attractions less than a 15-minute walk away. There’s a bike station right outside, which made things easier. It’s a quiet place, very clean, and the staff are awesome. The bed and pillow could be more comfortable, but it’s an awesome place overall.

The room was fine apart from needing a dust, but the bed was rock hard. The parking situation was the real problem. The description makes it sound as if there are parking spots, but they’re all on the street and only for local residents or available at £5 an hour. With a rental car, we might have had to park ten minutes away on the street and still pay. When we asked where to park, the owner seemed unaware how difficult it was. Google Maps even flags it as a “difficult parking area.” I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it to someone I like.

It can get cold at night in this old tenement house, so if you like to be warm, bring extra layers to sleep in. The location was great for sightseeing, with everywhere reachable within a 30-minute walk. We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were clean, and owner Keiko was kind and helpful. Our room had all the amenities, including hygiene products, a hair dryer and a TV with Netflix.

The location was quiet and lovely, about a 20-25 minute uphill walk into town. Keiko was so welcoming and absolutely lovely. The online pictures don’t do the room justice: it was beautiful and clean, with a really comfortable bed. There were brew facilities, cotton pads, earbuds and shower gel, all nice touches. The bathroom was small but clean. The shower pressure wasn’t great, though manageable. Breakfast isn’t free as stated online, but that didn’t bother me and my partner since we ate out over the weekend. I’d definitely stay again.

The owners were lovely and really attentive, and the rooms were spacious and beautiful. There’s a delicious breakfast place. You can walk to everywhere you’d want to go from this perfectly situated spot. Great for a trip with friends, family, or on your own.
