This place has the charm of a 200-plus-year-old guesthouse with a newer feel mixed in. It’s quiet and in a safe area, and buses stop right outside, about 15 minutes from downtown. The owner was warm and welcoming, and I really enjoyed our chats over breakfast.

A simple place to stay in Edinburgh, with rooms in a house. Some have their own bathroom, including a bath. Breakfast is available in-house, and public transport is nearby, so getting around is easy.

Breakfast was delicious, and the location made it easy to get between the old and new towns. I stayed with two friends, and we found the rooms clean and comfortable, with toiletries provided. The owners were so kind and hospitable, and the whole place felt homey. We had a lovely time, and I’d happily recommend it.

My Mam and Dad were well looked after during their stay, thank you! It’s a friendly, family-run place with good facilities and a really nice breakfast. The central location and views of Arthur’s Seat were lovely too. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The guesthouse is around 20 minutes from the city centre, which made getting around convenient. I was in Edinburgh on my own for one night, and the clean, pleasant single room and great cooked breakfast suited me perfectly. The old building does let noise through, though. I could hear sounds from elsewhere in the house.
