The room was warm, and we could get towels from reception when we asked. But its general cleanliness wasn't good, and both the furniture and appliances were very old. The drying rack felt like it belonged to another century. We couldn't properly dry our clothes on it and ended up drying them outside. With our one-year-old, we spent several days in an unclean room after our request for cleaning was not carried out. We stayed from December 27, 2025 to January 3, 2026, with my wife and our son. Getting around New Town with a stroller was fairly easy, though most of the highly rated attractions were in Old Town, a longer walk away. We skipped the hotel's breakfast because it was very poor, with almost no proper hot dishes. Better options were available at nearby hotels and restaurants, just a two-minute walk away. The hotel says reception is open 24 hours, but it seemed one person was covering reception, cleaning and service all at once. Often, nobody was available when we needed help. Some staff were helpful, but Charlotte gave us incorrect and misleading information and was extremely arrogant and dismissive. When we asked her something, she said she was cleaning tables, serving drinks and preparing the buffet, so she couldn't help us. We were first told room cleaning happened every seven days. We asked to have it done midway through the stay rather than just before checkout, and Charlotte said she'd scheduled it two days later. It never happened. When we followed up, she changed her answer to every eight days and said we weren't entitled to cleaning. Her answers were careless and inconsistent. There was only one baby high chair available. Taken together, we weren't satisfied, and Charlotte's attitude was the most disappointing part. I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

The staff were excellent throughout, especially when I accidentally left a bag with our passports behind after checkout. Jourdan went out of their way to get it handed to Royal Mail, while Charlotte and the rest of the team stayed responsive and helpful until it was sorted. We had a great stay at Heeton Concept Aparthotel Queen Street. The room felt more like a whole apartment than a hotel room, with plenty of space and a full kitchen, microwave, capsule coffee machine, separate washer and dryer, and dishwasher. I'd definitely stay again.

Our room was spotless, spacious and had all the essentials, including a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. It was very convenient and felt like home. There was also a lovely surprise waiting in the room, such a personal touch that made us feel appreciated. The staff were welcoming, kind and always ready to help from the moment we arrived. We couldn't have been happier and will definitely return. Room 309. Date 3 to 5 December.

The rooms are spacious and had everything we needed, with a comfortable, home-like feel. The hotel also took care of us after checkout, offering to hold our luggage until our 8 p.m. flight. That was thoughtful. The staff were polite and helpful, and the location was great. It met our needs in every way, and I'd stay again.
