Leonardo Hotel Edinburgh Haymarket

The rooms are a little tired, but I'd definitely stay again. Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They let us leave our bags before check-in and after we checked out, which was really helpful. It's quieter than central Edinburgh, very walkable, and feels safe to walk around at night.

I had a very comfortable room, and the staff were accommodating in a relaxed atmosphere. The coffee was great and the bar staff excellent. Breakfast was good, although the mushrooms, tomatoes and potatoes were undercooked, and quite a few plates and pieces of cutlery needed a proper wash. The first floor was very cold, so I couldn't use the lounge. Otherwise, a good stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, so we didn't have to ask for extras. The hotel is close to the city center but still quiet and cozy, a welcome place to come back to after walking around all day. We were greeted warmly, checked in quickly and got answers to all our questions right away. Breakfast was thoughtfully put together, with a nice range of good quality food. It's somewhere I'd truly like to return to and can recommend with confidence.

The room was clean, comfortable and well looked after, and the location made it easy to walk to most places. Good value for a short stay, and I'd recommend the hotel for those reasons. My only issue was the cold room. I contacted reception and was told it would be sorted, but the temperature barely changed. At checkout, they said they keep the air conditioning on full. I didn't quite understand the explanation, which was confusing.
