Premier Inn Edinburgh Park - Airport

The corridors were quiet, and I slept really well in a very clean room with a super comfortable bed. I was on the ground floor in RM 17, in a double room. I didn't try breakfast. Parking was £4.50 for the night, which seemed pretty reasonable. I came for a Friday night with friends in Edinburgh. The tram stop is literally a 30 second walk from the main door, making it easy to get to Princess Street, Murrayfield, Haymarket and the Old Town. I arrived before check-in and reception staff helpfully offered to secure our bags until we got back from our night out. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it for a night in Edinburgh.

For a business stay at its rates, this is a decent option. The restaurant ranges from average to good, as you'd expect at a Premier Inn with its own restaurant. Service can drag at busy times, and the layout sometimes screens you from the serving staff, which offers a bit of privacy but can leave you feeling ignored. Most of the team are friendly and professional and generally give prompt attention. The meeting facilities look good from outside, though I haven't used them, and I'm keen to see the Premier Plus rooms sometime. I come here roughly once a year for work. It's extremely convenient, right on the tram and train lines, with easy trips into the city or out to Glasgow. It's far enough from both the airport and city centre to be quieter, and there's a retail park opposite for picking up anything you need in a pinch. Check-in is fairly quick, and luggage storage is handy if you arrive before check-in or leave after checkout. Standard rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable beds, working TVs, and tea and coffee facilities. There's decent clothing storage for one person for a couple of nights, but possibly not enough for a family or a week-long stay. An iron and ironing board would improve the rooms. Free WiFi is pretty fast and reliable, useful for catching up on work after a flight. There aren't really fitness facilities nearby, but the even ground makes it easy to go for a decent run around Edinburgh Park.

Tracey went out of her way to get us extra, EXTRA pillows within minutes of my asking, even though she was obviously busy and had to find and bring them herself. I didn't get to thank her before we left, so I hope she sees this and knows how grateful I am for two comfortable nights' sleep. My husband and I stayed Friday and Saturday, the 5th and 6th December. The hotel was tidy and clean, as it has been on my previous visits, and the staff were friendly and courteous as usual. It was completely full and extremely busy, which makes Tracey's help even more appreciated.

I'm an advocate for FUTURE PATHWAY'S Voices For A Better Future, and we've been meeting at Edinburgh Park's Premier Inn for a few years. I wasn't staying overnight this time. Our meeting ran from 11.00 until 15.00, and the professional, friendly team always look after us and work hard not to interrupt. We had a lunch break with a lovely spread of sandwiches, soft drinks, salad, then cakes and fruit. I usually have coffee after the meeting, but had another meeting to get to this time.
