Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa Edinburgh

Getting around was easy from the hotel, which sits on a hill a short walk from Princess Street. The whole team were friendly and professional. I stayed five nights in Room #715, a spacious, clean, modern room with an AMAZING view of the Castle. Check-in was smooth, and they explained the amenities thoroughly. The Club Lounge had an exceptional breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres with complimentary drinks. I didn't try the Spa or Restaurant, so can't comment on those. A fantastic property that deserves all five stars, highly recommended.

The service was on another level. Our reservation through a third party had a problem when we arrived, and the team went out of their way to sort it out even though it wasn't their issue. The little things for younger guests were lovely too, including a mini robe and slippers, treats, Teddy and toiletries. The rooms are lovely and the spa is very good. We can't imagine staying anywhere else on future trips to Edinburgh. Thank you so much!

The hotel is a little away from the main tourist path, but it was well worth staying there. We had a spacious, fresh, clean room with really comfortable beds, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The elite lounge was a treat, with a huge range of food at breakfast and so much at the evening reception that we didn't need to eat elsewhere. The orange juice machine made the best orange juice we've ever tasted! The rooms were comfortable, the hotel very clean, and the amenities were great. We enjoyed our visit and would stay again. They also let us check in early, which was especially convenient after a long flight.

I had such a good customer experience, from arriving and parking on site at 8am Sunday before my meeting to checking in at 3pm with a glass of wine and complimentary snacks, then getting an extended checkout until 2pm Monday. Great value for an overnight stay, and I'll definitely be back. Thanks to @Sheratongrandedinburgh for the service and for wanting guests to enjoy their stay. Adam, the concierge, deserves a special mention. I took a photo of him today 19.01.26 with his consent and knowledge it might be used. He's an amazing young man, enthusiastic, full of energy and always smiling. He clearly loves his work, and taught me that there isn't a question you can't ask at this hotel. Everyone I dealt with was kind, from the bar and breakfast room teams to the concierge, and Adam really went above and beyond. The staff were polite, cheerful, helpful and friendly, and the youthful feel of the team was refreshing. Their HR recruitment policy deserves praise.
