Tom and Rowena's kindness and hospitality were the best part of our stay. They made everything feel perfect, and the little details throughout the guest house gave it the feel of a real labour of love from the moment we walked in. The location is great, with several bus routes less than a three-minute walk away. Breakfast was very complete, and cleanliness was exceptional.

My wife and I stayed here for the final two days of our 20-day Scotland trip, and this was the accommodation I was happiest with. I don't usually leave reviews, but wanted to share this in case it helps other travellers enjoy their holiday. The hosts were very friendly, and the house was neatly arranged with lovely furnishings and decorations. Our room and bedding were clean, breakfast was great, and even the tableware was clean. Everything was satisfying.

The hosts are TOP NOTCH, and breakfast is made to order. It's a GREAT base for Edinburgh: you don't feel like you're in the middle of the tourist area, but all the popular sights and transport hubs are easy to reach.

The owners were warm, helpful and really funny, and we loved staying at the Sheridan Guest House. Our room was lovely, spacious and very clean, and breakfast was delicious. I especially recommend the homemade granola. We'll be back.

Breakfast had lots of choices, plus a nice little buffet with fruit, yoghurt and cold cuts. Tom and Rowena are lovely hosts, and the place in Leith is beautiful. Our room felt homely, comfortable and clean. The bathroom and toilet were quite small, so bear that in mind if you need more room. It's within a three-minute walk of at least three bus routes. We'd definitely return and give it a 10/10 recommendation.
