As a solo traveller, I found everything I needed in the attic room. It was cozy and clean, the wifi worked, and the bottled water and biscuits were a nice touch. The guest house is in a quiet area, with local shops and restaurants within walking distance. There's a bus stop right outside, though you can also walk to the city centre. The owners were kind and responsive, and check-in went smoothly. I'd happily stay again and definitely recommend it.

We couldn't fault our stay at Strathallan Guest House. It's clean and comfortable, and so central to lots of terrific hot spots. Eamonn, the owner, made everything feel welcoming and comfortable, and went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. After planning our trip to Scotland from Australia for a year, it was a pleasure finally meeting him. We'd never had such authentic, personal service. Thank you for your kind hospitality, Eamonn!

The rooms were very clean, and I slept really well. It was a last-minute booking and very easy to access. There was tea and coffee in the room, with plenty of coffee sachets, which was a nice surprise. I'm a bit of a coffee addict and usually bring my own because most places limit how much they provide, which I understand is down to cost. They also supplied free bottled water. I'd definitely stay again. Onsite parking is a godsend in edinburgh.

The room was lovely, with a good TV and a nice range of teas and coffees. It was cleaned for us between nights, and I slept really well. Good location, within walking distance of the city centre. All in all, a great stay.

There's no breakfast, but they leave coffee, tea and good cookies in the room. Lovely place, and the location is good, right across from the bus station to the centre.
