I slept really well, and it was peaceful even travelling on my own. The owner was so friendly and helpful. A great spot for a short stay, and breakfast was top notch.

The garden view was lovely and relaxing, and the air con made my wife happy. Parking was adequate, and the staff were great. Breakfast was a full English, with the usual cornflakes, Weetabix and juice there to help yourself to. The Swan pub is just a stone's throw away, so getting back after hours is easy. Cheap for a quick stay, and you can't ask for much more.

We had a really good night's sleep. We got to breakfast late, but Charles didn't mind at all. I'd emailed a few days before our stay to ask about checking in early, and he was happy to arrange that too. Lovely stay, thank you!

The main downside was the low height of things throughout, from the room and shower to the sink. That could be difficult for anyone. Apart from that, it was a lovely, cosy guest house. We had a room with a shared bathroom and found it very comfortable. There was plenty of space for our things, plus a sink, kettle for tea and coffee, ironing board and iron, towels and soap in the room. The kitchen downstairs was always open, and breakfast was AWESOME. The owner was nice too. It's also close to Sandown Race Course.

The rooms are a little tired, but they were clean and absolutely fine. Breakfast was great, and the owner was lovely and helpful. I'd highly recommend staying here.
