Premier Inn London St Pancras

The bar was great, and the staff were really accommodating. Our room was hard to fault: the bed was comfortable, the TV worked well and the shower was warm. The area felt pretty rough, which is the one thing I marked it down for, but being a short walk from St Pancras Station was handy for travelling.

The room faced Euston st., so there was a little noise despite the triple-glazed windows. Next time, we’ll ask for a room on the other side. That aside, we were happy with our five-night stay in London. Our twin room was a decent size, the beds fairly comfortable, and the bathroom very clean. Breakfast was good, and staff replenished things when we asked on busy mornings. The location near Kings Cross station made it easy to get buses and trains around London and to Heathrow. Ahmed at reception helped us check in, find our room and sort out questions or needs over the next few days. The other staff were friendly and helpful too. We’d definitely book here again.

We stayed for a week with my mum. The location was great as a base for exploring London, with St Pancras Euston nearby for other travel options. The rooms were clean and neat, and most of the staff were helpful. The refurbished restaurant was disappointing, though.

We were robbed by staff members on our last night while we were out eating. There were no cameras facing our room, and it felt like we’d been targeted. I’ve never felt more violated during a hotel stay. When we called the police and spoke to hotel staff about what happened, the night manager threatened to kick us out. They seemed to think we wouldn’t notice our things missing because it was our last night before checkout. The next day, a hotel worker heard our account and agreed it was hotel staff. The hotel has not been responsible in its responses to the police investigation or even its parent company, whitbread. Horrible experience. If you’re an outside tourist, never stay here.
