The Lugo Rock

Posting this for Roy Smith: “This was my fifth visit to Lugo Rock, and I’ve already booked the next one. I’ve always been made very welcome by Katy and her staff. The comfortable rooms make for a good night's rest, and the generous, hearty breakfast sets me and my fellow golfers up for a round at one of the nearby golf clubs.”

Katie at Lugo Rock was an amazing hostess, ready to do anything she could for us. She was bright and bubbly from early morning through to when we saw her again in the late afternoon. Tricia, who helps out at the B&B, was welcoming too. Thanks for making our stay memorable. The coffee machine in the room makes a great hot coffee ☕️ We loved our stay and highly recommend it. It will stay in our memory 💕

I chose Lugo Rock from the online reviews for my first visit to Falmouth on 12th July. There’s space to park on site, the beach with its bar, restaurant and shops is a three-minute walk away, and it’s about eight minutes to the heart of Falmouth, the river, marina, museum, boat trips, shops and bars and restaurants. Katie gave me a very friendly welcome and made me feel at ease after my long journey. My room had what I needed, including a comfortable bed and sitting area. I found the pre-breakfast form easy and useful, though it may not suit everyone. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice including cereals and fruit before the cooked meal. The staff did all they could to help us start the day well. It was a worthwhile place to book for a visit to central Falmouth, especially because of the owners. Paul

Katie, the owner, gave us a wonderfully warm welcome. The rooms and breakfast are fantastic, and the hotel has everything you need. Highly recommend it. I'll be back.
