We had a lovely dinner in the pub one evening after returning from London earlier than planned. The food was very decent, and Raquel, a Spanish member of staff, was delightful. I believe that was her name, if I remember correctly. She and the manager on duty, whose name I didn’t catch, were attentive throughout. Since we were travelling with a baby, they quickly offered a high chair, brought the children’s menu and made it clear they were happy to help. That warm service made the meal especially enjoyable. If we lived closer, I suspect we’d come back more often. Farnborough also worked well as a base for our family and friends’ London visit, particularly with the direct train into the capital. The rooms were clean, comfortable and adequate for what we needed. There was some daytime noise from refurbishment, but we were told about it at check-in and it didn’t bother us, as we were usually up and out early. A thoroughly pleasant place I’d happily recommend.

The Village puts on amazing themed party nights, and it’s a great venue in a good location with good prices. There’s a nice range of food, and the rooms are comfortable and clean, which matters to me. Free parking is always a bonus. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Rhiannon in the gym was especially helpful when I asked about the facilities and membership offers.

Olivia went above and beyond at the leisure club, showing me around and making sure I knew where to go for my workout. The gym has great equipment and everything I needed for a good session. The pool was fantastic, and there’s a sauna too. I saw Olivia afterwards and she made me feel welcome at the hotel, even pointing out where I could get a coffee. I’ll definitely be back.

Olivia made a real difference from the moment I arrived at Village Gym. She answered all my questions, helped me feel welcome and comfortable, and made sure I felt confident using the equipment. Her friendly, professional manner was great. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere makes working out enjoyable. I’d highly recommend this gym if you’re looking for a supportive, motivating place to exercise.

Raquel, the Spanish waitress, was always attentive and smiling when we had lunch with family last week. The food was delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. We asked her for the children’s menu, too. The place was clean, including the tables, which weren’t sticky like in some other places. Wendy at reception also gave excellent service. We were all impressed, a 10 out of 10, and we’ll definitely be back.
