We stayed one night and have always been fans of the restaurant, so wanted to try the rooms. The top-floor Valentine Room had a fabulous harbour view, tea and coffee and a small fridge. Maybe biscuits would be a nice extra, but otherwise there was absolutely nothing to complain about. It was beautifully presented, had everything you'd need for a short stay, and came with a fabulous breakfast. Tram Road car park nearby lets you leave the car overnight. If you arrive in the afternoon, paying for 12 hours covers you until breakfast is over.

We booked the family suite at the last minute for one night and were really pleased. The rooms were quite compact but nicely presented, clean and ideally located near the restaurants. Breakfast was a highlight, beautifully presented and with good choices. I'd recommend it for a short stay.

The room worked well for a couple of nights, with a good layout and enough space, though it wasn't huge. We had a sea view from the nice top-floor room. The bed was curious comfortable. In the room there was a Nespresso machine and capsules, tea bags, a kettle, mini fridge, still and sparkling water, plus proper glasses and mugs. The bathrobes were a nice touch. They also had a wet room and toilet, but there wasn't much space for toiletries because of the bathroom's size. When we were there the shower was the hottest, but it was fine for me. There's an ironing board in the hallway with things like shower caps and emery boards if needed. Check-in is at the restaurant, where they asked whether we needed milk and escorted us to the room. The location is good, not far from the restaurant either. The only minor issue was that our room wasn't serviced, with towels changed or the bed made, even though we asked. It was only two nights, so not too bad. Breakfast at rock salt is good quality but takes a bit of time, so be prepared. On weekdays there's only a one-hour breakfast window, and it's two hours on the weekend.

The bed was great, the location was great and breakfast was wonderful. My only gripe is that the room, LaLa, was a little small, good for sleeping in but not so good for getting ready.

The rooms are beautiful, just a stone's throw from the harbour. We had complimentary coffee, water and body products for a lovely hot shower. Breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic. Les was amazing, such a nice, helpful guy. He made my hubby's birthday night away delightful. I'd recommend it 👌
