Ian and Suzanne made us feel so welcome, and the food was incredible, local and delicious. The hospitality was absolutely top notch, and they were accommodating in every way. The beautiful Highland setting is peaceful and away from the bustle of town, while still close enough to get everywhere quickly. If I make it back to Scotland, I’d definitely stay here again. Thank you, Ian and Suzanne, for a wonderful visit.

The hosts were fantastic, going out of their way to help, and the stylish old-fashioned rooms had everything we needed. Beds were soft and incredibly warm at night, rooms very clean, with enough space at the foot of the bed for two large suitcases open. The free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits were lovely. Free parking is right outside, and breakfast, including hot food made to order, is free. There’s a restaurant and bar downstairs where you can buy dinner that feels like a high-class restaurant. The central location also makes it a great base for lots of places.

Ian and Suzanne looked after our tour group with real care and made everyone feel welcome. The lodge is gorgeous, with distinctive rooms put together beautifully while still feeling homey and cozy. I appreciated its focus on sustainability and the gentle encouragement to think about how much material we used during the stay. There was no pressure about it, and they were incredibly kind. The food was excellent, the bar had a wide range of choices, and the grounds were gorgeous too. I’ll always remember this wonderful experience fondly. Thank you!

The room was spacious and wonderful, with a four-poster bed, and the food was first class. Staff were very attentive, and there’s ample parking. It’s a stunning hotel, and we’ll be back. Ian and Suzanne, you deserve five stars from the Scottish tourist board.

A well-run family hotel with cheerful service, clean rooms, great views, excellent food and a great bar.
