The Onich Hotel

A really peaceful place to stay, with a calm atmosphere and enough privacy to properly switch off. The room was spacious, clean and laid out well, so it was easy to relax without feeling disturbed. A lovely choice for a quiet break, whether you're on your own or spending time with someone close.

The view was beautiful, and our cozy cabin had a comfortable bed. We ran into a small plumbing problem, but the staff moved us to another pod within about ten minutes. We stayed a few nights with my partner and would happily come back, in winter or summer.

Dinner and breakfast were both fantastic, with really high-quality food, and everyone working there was lovely. We also had a little table and two chairs by the window in our second-floor room, looking out over the loch. The hotel is being refurbished and already seems to be coming along well, with several nice lounge spots and a pleasant dining room overlooking the water. We stayed one night and came home pleasantly surprised, especially after seeing some of the reviews. We’ll definitely return.

The setting and views were stunning, and there was plenty of private parking. The food was excellent, delicious and nicely presented, and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. A big thank you to Kumar and Prasad in particular, they were attentive and really made our three-night stay with my other half. The room, and the toilets too, were very clean. The room could use a minor update, but that didn't take away from the stay.
