Fowey Hall

The river views from the spa were lovely, and I had a very relaxing four hours there as a day visitor this February. Everything was spotless, the facilities were excellent, and the staff were really friendly. Hotel guests can use the indoor pool with children during the listed hours, but that didn't affect my visit. There was plenty of adult-only space too, including a good whirlpool bath, a relaxation room with herbal teas, a steam room, and a horsebox sauna. Treatment rooms and a wide choice of bookable treatments are available as well. There's plenty of parking, plus a nice bar and restaurant at Fowey Hall Hotel if you want to stay for the day. I believe spa guests can order food and drinks.

For my birthday, we got upgraded to one of the new rooms above the spa, which was incredibly luxurious. The bathroom was amazing and the bed was huge and really comfortable. The food was delicious, and all the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. We were blown away by the stay. The pool and spa were clean and modern, and the games rooms were a nice touch for kids and grown-ups. We'll be back 🙏🏻

Our room was spacious, and the hotel has a beautiful outlook over the town. The walk down to the shops and restaurants takes about ten minutes and is very steep, but it's worth it. Staff were friendly, and we liked having cocktails at the bar in the evenings. The restaurant was okay. There was a laundry bin in the room, but no prices were listed. We should've checked first, but didn't, and only found out at checkout that it was £30 per load. We could have combined things into one load instead of paying for two. Oh well.

The luxurious surroundings and stunning views made my spa morning so lovely. Hannah was warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to, and Alison gave me a wonderful facial with real expertise. I felt much better afterwards and really enjoyed using all the facilities. Thanks to Hannah and Alison for making the day special. I can't wait to return!
