We’ll be back. The hotel was modern and clean, with plenty of parking, and the shower had the strongest pressure I’ve ever had. It’s set among golden cornfields, halfway between Peterhead and Fraserburgh, and the food was good too.

I always enjoy shooting weddings at The Ban Car Hotel. Tina checks in with me to help make sure the day runs smoothly, and the whole team is so friendly and organised, always going the extra mile. It’s a brilliant venue with a warm, welcoming feel that puts everyone at ease.

We came 300 miles after weighing up the room price and reviews, and it was absolutely worth the trip. The room was spacious and nicely presented, the en-suite brilliant, and both the food and service superb. It felt like home, only without cooking or washing up. One of life’s more pleasant experiences.
