We picked this place for three nights because it was quiet by the river, near the OVO Hydro for the Deftones show, and reasonably priced. It's a calm spot away from the city centre bustle, though still walkable, with very nice views. We had a first-floor Venue view rather than a river view, which was fine but nothing spectacular. The twin room felt a little small for two, though we travelled light. The beds were comfortable but narrow, and the pillows were good. Everything worked except the air conditioning, which sometimes felt cool even at its highest setting. The shower had good pressure and instant hot water. Breakfast was good quality, though I wanted more choice in bread and cold food. Staff were very nice and helpful. The gym is open 24 hours, which I appreciated. No bench press or bar, and dumbbells only went up to 18kgs, but the dual adjustable pulley station was a welcome surprise and saved my workouts.

The river view was really nice and the location was great. The room was small, but still decent. My main problem was the pillows: much too soft, and I couldn't sleep well on them. I asked for firmer ones, but they only had extremely soft pillows, which was a shame. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

If you get a room on the river side, the views are awesome. The rooms are nice enough, though a bit small for two people or lots of luggage. The hotel is somewhat out of the way, which might suit anyone after a quieter feel. Breakfast, honestly, wasn't worth the price.

We had a nice room and view, and the hotel is well placed for nearby venues. Parking for the whole night was £10 if you have a car. The room had an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer, but only two coffee sachets, and the sheets wouldn't stay tucked in and moved around in bed. We'd planned to have dinner at the hotel, but got an email saying food wouldn't be available because of 'a private function'. We weren't happy, and by then it was too late to book another hotel. The show was amazing and the products there were delightful. Because of the 'private event', the bar was set up in some kind of room. To us and others, it felt like being at a wake, which wasn't right for a romantic drink on a special weekend away. Sorry Hilton, not great.

The river-side rooms look out over the Clyde, with Ibrox in the distance. It's a great spot for a concert, and the rooms are reasonably priced, though they look a little dated and could use a refresh. The hotel has a lovely bar area and restaurant.
