After a long day at work, a hot shower and a comfortable king-size bed made for a real treat. The bedding was outstanding, the hotel was quiet, and the staff gave superb service, so I woke refreshed and ready for the day. The bathrooms were especially fantastic. I spent a week at The Wellington in Glasgow. It’s brand new, beautifully finished, and luxury living at its finest. It’s a beautiful hotel, and I hope to visit again soon. Well done to everyone involved, simply outstanding.

The Wellington doesn’t have a restaurant, but there’s a small kiosk in the lobby and plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. The rooms are high quality, with very comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms. After staying at their property in Cambridge, I chose The Wellington for my Glasgow visit too. It’s an equally lovely historic building, about twice the size.

I had a fab mini-break exploring Glasgow, and the hotel made for a lovely stay. The room was cosy and modern, with everything I needed, including a coffee machine and a selection of teas and coffees. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They let me check in early and were responsive to my needs throughout the stay.

The hotel had only been open for two days when we visited, so a few things weren’t in place yet. Even so, it was a lovely stay and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was average in size, with lovely furniture and a comfortable bed. I enjoyed the big bathtub and large windows, though the view wasn’t amazing. At £95 per night, it was very good value.

The shower was powerful and fabulous. The room felt modern and clean, with a big bed and a firm mattress. We got a warm welcome too.
