The staff were friendly and dealt with noise from the room below us promptly after 10 pm. We stayed two nights as a family, and the room suited us well. Breakfast still had a good range of cooked English food, pastries, fruit and cereal even though we arrived late. The bacon was a little dry. I’d recommend staying here.

We slept well after a long drive slowed by traffic, and the room was great value. Manny was really friendly and polite when he checked us in, and we saw him again at breakfast. Breakfast itself was great, though one guest complained about there being no Earl Grey tea bags. I pointed out that everything else was well stocked. I can’t say the same for FIVE STAR TAXIS.

We usually pay £75 a night when we stay here to visit my mum, who lives very locally. This Wednesday, it cost us £205 for one night, which felt like a rip-off. For that price, it was shocking that the room was so basic and the sofa bed for my two older kids hadn’t even been made up. The carpet was heavily stained and the room needs updating. It’s worth £75 a night, but there are definitely better hotels nearby for £205.

The hotel was clean, and the staff were young and pleasant. But as someone who stays in hotels a lot, that was the worst breakfast I’ve had. The bacon and sausages were so overcooked and dry from sitting on the hot plate that they looked reheated from the day before. I’d book the hotel, but skip paying for breakfast.
