Colwall Park

Our club's Christmas lunch was a great start to the festive season. The food arrived piping hot, looked lovely, and tasted delicious. The kitchen team did a great job. Matt, Karen, Eve and the rest of the staff made the event feel special. The refurbishment has given the place a stylish, welcoming feel, and you can sense people's excitement and pride. The previous hotel was fine too, but the change has worked well. Colwall is lucky to have so many good places to meet, and this hotel, bar and restaurant can host anything from a small gathering to a large function. Thanks again, we'll be back.

For a lovely setting and really good food, I'd recommend Colwall Park. We celebrated a family birthday there on Sunday, our second family celebration at the restaurant, and everyone was well looked after. There were 21 of us, so ordering ahead made things much easier. Karen organized everything, and Jess and the team were wonderful. A big thank you to them all.

The staff were lovely and willing to help with anything, and the hotel is extremely dog friendly. The building itself has seen better days, but that didn't spoil a pleasant stay. It was well worth it.

Our room was comfortable and nicely presented, and having both a bath and shower was a welcome option. The full breakfast was one of the best I've had. Staff were warm and friendly, too. The hotel is handy for Ross on Wye, Hereford and Great Malvern. There's a train station right beside the car park at the back, but you can't hear the trains. We'd happily stay again.
