Knights Court Hotel

I stayed here for work for 2-3 weeks, and the staff were amazing. My room was spot on and nice and clean, and breakfast was brilliant.

They remembered us from last year, which made the stay feel personal and friendly. The room was comfy, and the service and value were hard to fault. It’s a great location, close to the main town by a short walk but far enough away to be quiet.

The staff made us feel so relaxed and welcome, and breakfast was great. The bar area was a lovely place to unwind in the evening. The hotel is on the sea front, and we were offered a choice of rooms. We picked room 6 at the back of the main building. It was small but fine for a couple staying one night. There was tea, coffee and a fridge, though I couldn’t reach the plug to switch the fridge off and had to listen to it hum all night. I’m sure the staff would have helped if I’d asked. I’d recommend the hotel, but would want a bigger room for a longer stay.

Breakfast was a real treat, with plenty of food and lots of choice each morning. The staff serving it were wonderful, happy, chatty and friendly. Housekeeping came every day, changing towels daily if you wanted, and replacing tea, coffee and milk as needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Our sea-facing room had a beautiful beach view and was so peaceful. The receptionist was friendly and chatty, and even recommended a garage for my other half when his car needed attention. We knew we’d picked a winner as soon as we walked in. It’s only an 8-10 min walk to the pier. We’ve just returned from four nights here, had a great time, and will definitely come back.
