Premier Inn London Hampstead

The family room was spacious and comfortable, including the bathroom, and everything was very clean. It’s a cosy hotel in a pleasant part of London, with the underground station about a two-minute walk away along a road that felt safe. Breakfast was the weak point. During the Christmas rush, there weren't enough staff to clear tables, refill food and serve everyone, though the team were doing their best. Two extra people on busy days would have helped. Apart from that, I’d recommend it.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating, and both the rooms and shared areas were kept clean. I stayed one week in a standard room, then moved to a Premier Plus room with a fridge, coffee machine and walk-in shower. The food was fresh and nice. I’d happily recommend the hotel, and plan to come back now and then for a meal or a drink. The staff can be proud of what they’ve achieved.

The team deserves a lot of credit: everyone was professional, courteous and caring, and breakfast was perfectly cooked, nicely presented and well stocked. We’ve just finished our stay at the Premier Inn at Hampstead. I’ve stayed at hundreds of Premier Inns since the brand began, and this is the best one I’ve experienced so far. For a London trip, I highly recommend it.

The tube station is just a few minutes away on foot, and there are places to eat and drink nearby. I felt safe both day and night. Breakfast was chaotic because there weren’t enough staff, and the guest parking information wasn’t accurate. There’s no check-in desk, so if something comes up, you have to look around for a staff member. If the car park machine isn’t working, use the app by scanning the QR code, and remember to get the discount code from the walls inside the hotel.
