Aarondale Guest House

I’ve booked at short notice a few times, and even managed to extend my stay with just a day’s notice by calling Chris & Janet. They’re really friendly, and the rooms are clean and roomy. Most have en-suite bathrooms, and there are towels, bathroom supplies, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a kettle in the room. It feels lovely and homely, with shops nearby, the seafront three minutes away and private parking right outside. They’re updating many of the rooms, which is good to see. I hope breakfast is available next time, as Covid hit staffing hard. I’d definitely recommend staying here, and contacting them directly is best.

Breakfast was nicely cooked, with plenty of options, and the price was reasonable. The guest lounge and breakfast room are lovely. The place is well located, with shops and the beach within walking distance, and excellent parking right outside. The owners are friendly, and the rooms are clean and spacious. I’d certainly recommend it.

The room was warm and cosy, with a comfortable bed, and breakfast was delicious. Chris & Janet were welcoming and friendly. It’s only minutes from the beach, and the new owners have said they’re renovating throughout. We’ll definitely come back :)

The full English breakfast was big, and the staff were friendly and helpful. In studio room '11', I had a clean space, a firm comfortable bed, a decent shower and a telly. The corridors were quiet, with no slamming doors, and the seafront is an easy walk away. Great value too. It beats most of the 4 star hotels I’ve used this year.
