Premier Inn Haverfordwest - North/A40

The staff were exceptional, and the other room I was moved to had no problems. Room 29, though, was humid and musky again the next morning, so I’d avoid it. There was no window to open, and I had to leave the door open to air it out. Around 1pm I noticed lots of room doors propped open, which made it seem like they were airing rooms. It looks like a known issue they’re trying to manage rather than fix.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times for work. The rooms are pretty average, but the staff deserve a mention because everyone I met was lovely, friendly and helpful. Claire in particular gave me such a warm welcome and couldn’t do enough for me.

The staff were lovely, five stars, and breakfast was superb, also five stars. But Room 3 downstairs was damp, dirty and the worst Premier Inn room I’ve seen. The carpet was filthy, it stank, there was a faulty lamp, and dust everywhere. We stayed three nights. On the first, it sounded like morris dancing overhead. The second was quieter, but at 23:45 on the third night I thought there was a basketball game upstairs. My wife complained at reception and was told the people upstairs had just checked in. Whatever you do, make sure you’re upstairs.

We were thrilled with the room, and everything was impressively clean. The dining area was lovely, with a good range of cooked and continental food. It was our first time staying at Premier, and we were amazed by the standard throughout. All the staff were polite and friendly. We’ll definitely stay at Premier again.
