Morfydd is such a kind, generous host, and the breakfast is superb. My spacious, comfortable room came with homemade sweet treats I haven't found anywhere else. This traditional B&B is peaceful and picturesque, and very good value. A lovely base for an escape to the Pembrokeshire countryside, only about a 20-minute drive from the ferry at Fishguard.

Breakfast is so generous you'll be rolling out the door, and the woman who runs this B&B is the sweetest. It's a beautiful, very quiet spot. Just be aware the mattress is soft.

The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the main house is well kept, and the Wi-Fi was surprisingly fast for such a remote part of Wales. At £50/night, the room was a bargain when most hotel rooms were well over £100/night. The host was incredibly kind, made a delicious restaurant-quality breakfast early in the morning, and was lovely to talk to about her remarkable life story. Thank you, Morfydd. I'll absolutely come back to this farm stay when I'm in Wales again.

In June 2025, we found the place clean, quiet and cosy. The host welcomed us with homemade cakes, and my husband liked the fruit cake so much that I asked for the recipe. I've made it twice now, and it's delicious. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from: fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast or a full cooked breakfast. Michele and Frank Australia

A word of caution for arriving at night: Farmhouse Lochmeyler is next to another property, which makes it easy to get confused. Don't cross the cattle grid, that's the wrong house. Go a little further up the road and you'll reach what feels like a slice of Heaven. Mrs Morfydd Jones is a wonderful host, an absolute angel at 81. The working farm sits among beautiful green fields, with birds chirping away. My room was super comfortable, with tea-making facilities, a fridge, and a lovely view over pristine Welsh fields. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and served on the most homely tableware.
