Llanerch Vineyard

We’ve eaten here several times before and always had a lovely time, so I booked the Llanerch Vineyard Luxury package for my husband’s birthday and we stayed in January 2026. Dinner was outstanding, including the wine, and Rhys made sure the evening felt special. Earlier, Vicky hosted our wine tasting in the Tasting Rooms. It turned out to be just my husband and me in the 12.00 slot, so we had her all to ourselves. She was funny, knew so much, and made the session really enjoyable. When we arrived, Liz and Ally at reception were warm and helpful. Check-in was at 3pm, but they sent us to the bar while we waited, then came to tell us at 11.15am that our room was ready. They’d also upgraded us from a Countryside Superior room to a suite. They really went out of their way to make the birthday stay special. Thanks to Liz, Ally, Rhys and Vicky, you were amazing.

Met up with a few friends for coffee and a catch-up. We sat upstairs and had a lovely view over the Vineyard. The coffee was great, and downstairs the afternoon tea looked beautiful, with sandwiches, cakes and little bites. The setting is lovely, the staff were pleasant and professional, and there’s plenty of parking. We only had coffee, so I can’t say anything about the rooms or meals.

We had a large, very clean room, and breakfast the next morning was delicious. The staff made a real effort to make our stay special. Vicky hosted our wine tasting in the Tasting Rooms, and we were lucky to be just the three of us. She was knowledgeable and funny, and we learned a lot from her. We got to take our tasting glass home in a box, and bought some bottles of wine to take home too. I booked the Llanerch Vineyard overnight stay with breakfast and wine tasting at Christmas time, for our January visit. Looking forward to coming back. Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5

The room was upgraded to a suite for our 20th anniversary, with a complimentary bottle of bubbles and Welsh cakes waiting for us. Our tasting with Vicky was a treat. She knew her stuff, was a joy to learn from, and the wines we tried were gorgeous. Dinner was exceptional, as was the service. Alice was especially thoughtful and brought us two complimentary glasses of bubbles to celebrate. Everyone at reception, both on arrival and at checkout, was friendly and welcoming. The place felt comfortable, never stuffy, while still making me feel special. I can’t recommend the hotel enough. Absolutely perfect in every way, I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
