Pack Horse Inn

Rose really made our stay special, from greeting us when we arrived to helping with dinner and then breakfast. Everyone was friendly and efficient, and all the food was well presented and enjoyable. We stayed for one night after attending a post funeral wake here. The room was nicely furnished, with a comfortable bed, a lovely shower, and plenty of tea and coffee, plus fresh milk in a flask. We'd like to come back and explore the area in happier circumstances.

The views are stunning, and breakfast is cooked perfectly with a good range of choices. Whenever I visit family and friends, The Pack Horse Inn, New Mills, is my first choice. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern, with everything you need. Staff are helpful and friendly. It's always a pleasure to stay here, thank you.

We loved it. The pub is a little more off the beaten track than we expected, but that location comes with fantastic views and walks. Great room, food and service, and such a lovely pub. Would happily recommend.

We had dinner here and the food was top quality, with good value for money. There's a good menu to choose from and the service was great. We arrived in the dark, so the drive was a bit tricky to find, but that wouldn't put me off coming again.
