There are plenty of good walks right from the door, and the area is beautiful. The nearby towns and villages are also surprisingly easy to reach by bus. We had a fantastic stay in a clean, comfortable apartment, stocked with everything needed for cooking. The welcome basket was a lovely touch, and we enjoyed waking up to relaxing music through the tablet connected to the sound system. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The food hamper waiting for us when we arrived was such a kind touch, and we were impressed by it. The rooms at Overlea Barn were spotless, and the hot tub was wonderfully relaxing after a long walk. There's no shortage of Peak District walks to choose from here. We've already booked another stay because we miss the place. Five stars.

We spent a fantastic week of our honeymoon in Overlea Farm Cowshed and would love to come back. The owners made us feel welcome with a lovely little hamper, gentle music on the Sonos system and a nice scent from the diffusers. The cottage's decor and furnishings were especially impressive, with great design and quality throughout. We loved soaking in the hot tub, looking over the fields in the morning and up at the stars at night. The fire kept us cosy in the evenings, though we could also control the central heating ourselves. If you're driving, the location makes it easy to get to walks, restaurants and the main sights in the Peaks, all within about a 30 minute drive. We'd absolutely recommend staying here.

Alan was there if we needed anything, though we didn't. The Barn was fantastic, with spacious rooms, quality furnishings and decor, and a hot tub as a bonus. We appreciated the basic food basket left for us, and felt relaxed from arrival right through to departure. A beautiful location, and well worth the journey from London.

Alan, the owner, is really friendly, and the farm is a credit to his hard work. The Coach House is modern, beautifully furnished and designed, with a private garden and hot tub lit up at night. Open the big glass doors and you can look out across the garden and countryside. It's a luxurious, high spec place with plenty of tech, and the basics are supplied too, including bread, butter, tea, coffee, milk and eggs. Beautiful setting, five stars from us.
