I got there too late to try the food, unfortunately. The menu seems to cover a wide range, from pub snacks to full meals, so I’ll have to come back another day soon. It’s a warm, friendly pub with plenty of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. Families and regulars both seem welcome.

The twin room was quite small, but perfectly fine for a short stay, and everything was fairly priced. The only real downside was the bathroom: the shower was tiny and the water pressure was pitiful. It’s a lovely village and a pleasant enough traditional pub. The hosts tried to make us feel welcome, and the food was good, though I think I might have had a heart attack if I’d stayed much longer! My son loved it. Thanks to the guys for having us.

We were made to feel welcome, and the service was friendly and quick. The accommodation was OK and very reasonably priced for the area. Inside, it’s a traditional pub with several screens for sports, and the building is pleasant to look at from outside. Breakfast was a bit haphazard. I wish I’d skipped the cooked option, as it was far too greasy for my stomach. I did feel for the couple running the place, since they must have been up late the night before and early that morning.

The room was amazing, and the staff were really friendly. We loved staying here. Thanks for accommodating us.

The breakfast was decent enough, but the rooms were absolutely filthy. The towels and sheets had stains and hair all over them, the crockery was dirty, and there was hair across the bathroom floor. We stayed for a weekend and found there was no Wi-Fi, despite it being listed on the booking. The staff seemed too nonchalant and very unwilling to help. The pub also doesn’t mention that there’s live music on Saturday until midnight, which comes straight through the walls. On both mornings, a rooster next door woke us at 5am. One of the worst B&Bs I’ve stayed in.
