The hotel is in a great area, and we loved the quirky decor and the room. The bed was especially comfortable, with lovely pillows and a great feather duvet. The staff were all friendly and really helpful. Dinner was lovely, though expensive. Breakfast was the one letdown: very limited choice, and the croissants were old. It didn't come close to the similar breakfast at Bike & Boot in Scarborough, which is much better.

I've stayed here for work two weeks in a row and am about to start a third. Being here makes me happy, and I feel fine leaving my laptop out without worrying someone will take it. The hotel has everything you need and great room service. The food portions could be better for the price, though, so I end up going into the local town, where you get more for less.
We had a great time, even though the bike hire was closed because of staff illness. We used their other location about twenty minutes away, and only then realised it was on a different cycle route from the one we'd planned. The hotel stay itself was excellent: welcoming staff, fantastic rooms with a big shower and free toiletries, plus complimentary afternoon cake and coffee. The restaurant menu and food quality were superb, and breakfast was excellent value too. We're already looking forward to coming back.
We stayed at Bike & Boots for a night while visiting my parents in Hope. The hotel was quiet, which we appreciated, and our room was large and well appointed. Dinner was amazing, especially the steak, cooked to perfection. Breakfast was OK, but not up to the same standard. There were electric charging bays outside, so my car was fully charged by morning. All in all, a good experience, and I'd recommend it.
It's a bright, modern hotel with a sturdy style that suits walkers and riders, and dogs are welcome throughout. The staff are friendly and very helpful, though you can choose self-service check-in if you prefer. The bar has good food and drink and was lively at the weekend. Parking, different room sizes, and free tea and cakes all added to the relaxed, generous feel. There was some road noise, as the website info and photos led us to expect. I'd definitely return.
