Hookwood Lodge

A really convenient place to stay before a Gatwick flight. The room access instructions were easy to follow, there’s a great pub five minutes away on foot, and the airport is a ten-minute drive.

The only real downside was that my room was too warm when I arrived. I turned the heating off and opened the window, but because I was above the entrance, people stood there smoking and the smell drifted into my room. It wasn’t pleasant to wake up to. The value is really impressive, and I’d use the place again if I were in the area, especially for a Gatwick flight. It’s easy to get to, with a short trip to the airport and plenty of free parking. My room was very large and had everything I needed, including water, tea, coffee, toiletries, and even Lotus biscuits.

The peaceful grounds are stunning, and it’s close to Gatwick Airport, so getting there is easy. My room was clean and had facilities for making tea and coffee. There’s no breakfast service, but Horley town is nearby, where you can get a full English breakfast at the Jack Fairman.

The garden and greenery are lovely, and parking is available. You can also get an airport transfer for a small fee. Service was good, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and fully equipped. There’s Netflix in the room too. I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a hotel or lodge near Gatwick Airport.
