The Lawn Guest House

This review is very late because my husband and I each thought the other had written one when we were chatting about booking this year’s holiday! We had such a good stay at the Lawn Guest House last August that I still wanted to share it. The owner was professional, friendly, and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room was comfortable and had great facilities, and breakfast was superb. We’d book again and recommend this lovely guest house to anyone looking for a first-class place near Gatwick Airport.

Quasim, the owner and host, is gracious and helpful, always ready for questions, a good conversation, and a smile. He made a wonderful breakfast and gladly helped with a drive when I needed one at the end of my stay. I arrived exhausted from travelling and found a beautiful home to rest in. The cleaning staff were attentive, and their care for the details shows how lovingly the house is looked after. It’s also close to town, in a safe, lovely neighborhood for a walk. I’d highly recommend The Lawn Guest House and would stay there again if I return.

Getting there was easy, and the airport trips went smoothly. The owner was both professional and friendly, and the rooms were fabulous, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. I’d definitely recommend this place.

The airport pickup was handy, breakfast was very good, and there are several good restaurants nearby. Horley Station is just a short walk away. The rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable, and reasonably priced. If you’re going through Gatwick, this is a great place to stay.
