We stopped in for a drink after a walk yesterday and ended up staying all night. The lit outdoor area looks lovely after dark, drinks are good and reasonably priced, and we met lots of people we hadn’t seen in ages. The music and atmosphere were really good, and Andrea, the new landlady, was fun, welcoming and fabulous. It’s not in our area, but this is definitely going to be our go-to pub. We’ll be back!

The room was lovely, cosy and beautifully furnished. My husband had to crouch in the shower, though I was fine. There was no breakfast offered, and we didn’t have any meals there.

We dropped in with family for a drink and something to eat. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the pub feel relaxed. There’s a good choice of traditional homemade pub food, and it was tasty and well priced. We’d happily eat here again and would recommend it.

Really friendly pub, with an amazing host who let me check in early. The room was clean, with a smart TV and a good shower. A great welcome all round.

The staff were polite, helpful and happy to do whatever they could, which I appreciated a lot. There’s a car park at the back, with plenty of shops and businesses nearby. It’s a good stop for business travellers, people passing through town, or regular visitors. A lovely place for a night or longer, and I’ll be back very soon. It’s good to see professional, polite people still around. Thank you.
