Travelodge London Ilford

City Gates Church was just across the road, so the location worked well for the event. I was only there for one night for a concert. The room was spacious and clean, though the bathroom was less impressive: no toilet brush or vent, and the shower curtain was much too long. Reception didn’t feel welcoming, and later they weren’t helpful when I asked the price of items in the vending machine.

The rooms were nice and big, but a few things let the stay down: there was no hairdryer, no free WiFi, and no power outlets by the bed. The heater also didn’t work properly. Overall, just an average experience.

Oh Lira, thank you for making our holiday so lovely. You’re kind, thoughtful, and generous, and we felt really well looked after. Alina at reception was fantastic too. The two of you made our stay special. I can’t wait to come back next month and stay here again. You’re both the best! 💖

The hotel was clean, with no marks on the carpets or bad smells, and the room and bathroom were clean too. The room felt quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location is great, and there’s secure paid parking in the multi-storey next door.
