The rooms were much bigger than we expected, and there was even an outdoor sitting area. We stayed for three nights during our Scotland trip and found the price Miss Kinga arranged very good. She booked quickly by phone and email. Thanks also to Michal for the helpful email replies, and especially to Mr. Fernando, who welcomed us, showed us the room and dining area, and explained the hotel rules and other details clearly. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner there. The hotel is on the other side of Edinburgh, and it was a nice drive over. There’s plenty of parking, though you need to tell reception your vehicle registration. The station is about a 12-minute walk, and the bus stop is around 5-7 minutes away. There’s also a shop outside and a quick fast-food restaurant beside it. We didn’t get to meet Miss Kinga because she was on holiday. Thanks to her and Mr. Fernando for all the support during our stay. See you.

We paid under £30 per person for the night, which is hard to match in Edinburgh, and the train makes getting there easy. The station is about a five-minute walk, with the ride to Edinburgh taking less than 30 minutes. There’s a spacious private car park, and while the hotel doesn’t seem to serve meals, a bakery and convenience shop are roughly three minutes away on foot. It’s a small, privately run place in Inverkeithing. The rooms could use a little TLC, but ours was clean, warm and comfortable. Staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. If you want an affordable, comfortable stay with easy train access to Edinburgh, it’s a good option.

The front desk lady was polite and check-in went smoothly, and there was parking. It’s about a 25-minute drive to Edinburgh city centre. The hotel is reasonably priced, though the rooms were a bit dusty and the walls very thin. It’s an older building, so the layout feels a little odd.

We enjoyed our stay in this peaceful place, with a few food spots and shops nearby. Buses are available too. The train station is only a three-minute walk away, and the ride to Edinburgh takes around 20-25 minutes. Buying a return ticket from here can save a lot on an Edinburgh trip.

Handy parking, friendly folk and a clean, cosy, well cared for little hotel. Great value for a night or two near Edinburgh. Ignore the bad reviews, we’ll definitely be back!
