The food was the star for us, from how it was prepared and presented to the quality and taste. Service was exceptional, and the setting is beautiful, accessible, and full of history. It has to be a culinary jewel of northern Scotland.

We came for one night as a surprise retirement treat, and were upgraded to a suite, which was a lovely touch. From the minute we walked in, the staff were attentive and engaging, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Excellent service and delicious food.

Months after our visit, we still talk about Culloden House almost every day. It was one of the highlights of our trip, absolutely stunning, and George and the rest of the staff were so kind and attentive. We’ll definitely be back.

We ate here during our two-night stay and were already looking forward to dinner again the next night. The food was delicious, and they were very accommodating about my dietary restrictions and likes and dislikes. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were amazing and helpful with everything we needed.

I haven't stayed here, to be clear. I did have a really good meal here a few years ago, and my wife has been for afternoon tea a couple of times, which she says was very good. It's a historic building with a very good reputation.
