The location was beautiful, and the room was nice, though very small with just a twin bed. There's no street parking. A pay lot is very close, but it has a three-hour time limit.

Cherry made us feel like family during our three nights at Park Hill. My husband and I stayed in room #3, which had two twin beds and a sink; the shared bathroom was just outside the door. Everything was lovely and very clean, including the bathroom, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The beds had top sheets, which matter a lot to us Americans. I'm a warm sleeper and find duvets much too hot. Breakfast was very good, and Cherry asked how we liked it and how we wanted our eggs cooked. There was coffee, juice and muffins too. She even went out to buy real creamer for my coffee, although people rarely ask for it. The guest house is literally down the street from the railway station. Getting up the stairs with luggage to reach the street was a little challenging, but manageable, and not Cherry's fault. She's lovely and engaging. Prices are very competitive with other B&Bs nearby, and it's close to everything. Thanks, Cherry, for making our stay so outstanding. I'd definitely stay again. I also want to respond to the girl who applied for a job and reviewed the place around the same time we stayed. As a guest, I can say none of what she claimed was true. I'm sure she didn't get the job, which would explain the bad review. Cherry works incredibly hard and it shows in her establishment. I read at least two unrealistic reviews here, both absurd. The fellow who complained the TV was too small and the plug outlets too low needs to get a life. We slept here and ate breakfast. The rest of the time we were out visiting Inverness and the Highlands, not finding fault with everything. Stay here!

We stayed overnight with two kids. The room was clean, had an ensuite and a TV, and was right off the high street, so the location was very handy. If you have children who need a dark room, I'd suggest bringing one of those stick-on blinds for the window.

The room was very clean, and the hot breakfast in the morning was amazing. Staff were friendly and super helpful, pointing us in the right direction whenever we asked. It's a good location, just up the stairs from the main street. The beds were good, though a little small for me at 6'4", but an average-sized person should fit fine. The toilet, sink and shower are shared, though having a sink in the room is a good idea if someone is using the bathroom for a while. The TV is small and has a TN panel, so you need to sit at certain angles to see what's happening, though the sound is pretty clear. Would stay again.

We arrived after check-in hours, but had let the host know a few days beforehand and checking in was no problem. The host was very nice and welcoming, and the room and facilities were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Everything was lovely, and I'd highly recommend this guesthouse.
