Spotless, warm rooms and a legendary breakfast at this legendary hotel and boozer. The staff were really nice and took time to chat. It seems to be family owned, and I’d rather see the business go to them than to the big chains.

We used the hotel as a base for two days on our motorbikes. It’s a 2-star hotel with 5-star service, and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. Nothing fancy, but there’s good food, drink, and company. If you want a day in Inverness, the bus stop is outside the hotel and the ride takes about 10 to 15 minutes. I’d recommend it.

After a nightmare of a day, the owner and staff did everything they could to help us. One of them even lent us a hammer so we could break into our van. There are helpful hotel staff, and then there are these people. They’re unpretentious, good people, and I can’t recommend a friendlier hotel.

The fish and chips were more than excellent. The portion was so huge it wouldn’t even fit on the plate! The hotel was lovely and clean, and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.

After a delayed flight and a cancellation left me without a place to stay, the lovely staff got me out of trouble. I called, they quickly found me a room, and check-in was easy. The room was in nice condition, I slept well, and the chef made a brilliant breakfast. Hospitality was perfect, and I couldn’t have asked for a friendlier welcome. Thank you, Alan from London.
