Chris and his other half were fantastic hosts at this lovely B&B. The room downstairs was roomy and very comfortable, with a spotless, beautiful bathroom. A nice touch was the complimentary wee drams of whiskey and chocolates in the room. I had the classic fry-up breakfast, but it was a cut above, with seasoned mushrooms, garlicky tomatoes and delicious sourdough toast. Chris really knows how to cook. 10 out of 10 🙂🫠

Parking right outside was handy, and the place had a calm, cozy feel. Our room was spacious, spotless and so comfortable, with a bed that gave us a perfect night’s sleep. The big bathroom had my new favourite coconut bodywash, and there was a silent fridge with drinks, plus complimentary whisky and chocolate. Chris welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of choices and everything cooked beautifully. Chris has made The Castle BnB a lovely place, full of comfort and care. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The room was clean and tidy, with a few thoughtful extras, and Chris was a perfect host. He gave us sightseeing information and served a fantastic breakfast. The B&B is an easy walk from the city centre. I’d definitely recommend it.

Chris was so kind, helpful and full of useful information during our first visit to the UK. He greeted us like friends from the start. We loved the pleasant atmosphere and the delicious breakfast each day. It was a great experience, and we’ll come back.
