Bourne Hall Country

We stopped in for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed the food and those amazing views. The decor feels a little dated, though the service was impeccable. It’s a very calm, quiet place, so bear that in mind when choosing it.

Tom made the afternoon memorable with friendly, polite, efficient service. We had a relaxed Sunday lunch, and the food was tasty, beautifully presented, and very reasonably priced. Hard to ask for more.

The young man serving us had a great sense of humour and was lovely with the guests, which really topped off our birthday gift afternoon tea. They’d remembered that my wife and daughter were vegetarian, and kept their food separate. My traditional sausage roll was superb, and the vegetarian ones were delicious too. We loved the sandwiches, scones, meringue, and sponge cakes. There was more than we could eat, but they gave us a box to take the rest home. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a lovely lunch in a beautiful spot. The staff were so friendly and helpful, which made it feel like a special occasion. The ‘Sea for Two’ platter was fabulous, and the ingredients were locally sourced.
